Find Security Jobs website

This is a short blog post to let you all know about what I think will be a great new resource for security staff and employers in Ireland.

The newly launched Find Security Jobs website has been set up by security professionals to help security operatives get the type of work they want and employers get the type of staff they want. I’m not involved in the business in any way and I’m not getting any payment for this but I think it’s going to be a great support for the industry into the future. I know some of the guys involved and I think they are onto something good here.

How does it work?

Basically it allows a security operative to create a profile of themselves including skills, licences and areas they want to work in. They then match those skill sets with employers who are seeking the same. Setting up a profile and receiving job updates is completely free. Only work that match your skills is shown to you and when you express an interest then you are matched with an employer for a potential interview.

Employers

Employers pay to place an advertisement same as you would on any other job site but this one has the advantage of specialising in just security job profiles. It also takes all of the hassle out of screening CV’s with none of the qualifications you asked for in your advertisement. Only employees who match your job requirements will see the job meaning you get the most suitable CV’s for the job.

I think that this is going to be a great resource for those who want to get good jobs with decent companies who are prepared to pay to get the right candidates. It’s solves problems for both parties in the selection and recruitment process and is ran by people with the best interest of the industry in mind. Even if you aren’t actively looking for work right now it is well worth setting up a profile to see what’s out there in your area. You have nothing to lose by setting up a profile.

You can check it out by clicking here to set up your profile.
